Ladies, there are many, many techniques on how to flirt with a guy, but what you want are those techniques that in no uncertain terms, will let him know exactly where you are coming from - and maybe where you want to go

Although it is a changing convention, it is still more often the case that the guy will do the chasing. However, if you want to take the bull by the horns and ensure the guy you fancy will definitely notice you, here are some surefire ways to make that happen.

Let's make the assumption you are initially a little way from your target then...
- How to flirt with a guy from a distance starts with a series of strategic glances and looks. At first, once you've seen that hot guy, you want to place yourself so you are side on from his perspective and then make periodic glances over your shoulder in his direction. When you manage to catch his eye, hold the gaze for no more than 2-3 seconds whilst smiling slightly. This will get him wondering what the meaning of that look actually was, because it won't be a blatant wide-eyed stare
- Next, you want to do a few more of those looks (only 2 or 3), but only make direct eye contact with 1 of them. With the other looks, rather than making direct eye contact, just look slightly to either side of him. Again, this will start to get his mind working and thinking "Is she actually looking at me?" - as a result of this change of focus, you may well see him look quizzically from side to side and try to identify the intended target of your gaze
- Now that you've started to play with his mind a little, let things cool for say 10 minutes or so. When you resume flirting, however, you are going to have moved your body position so that he is now more or less directly facing you - but not directly facing you with nothing in between you and him. Because you will invariably be with a friend or group of friends, you want to place at least 1 friend in the space between you and him. You will still be able to see him and vice versa, but the great thing now is that as you are talking to your friend, you can periodically look past your friend and directly at him, but continue talking to your friend. So what you are now doing is stepping things up, but still not making it 100% obvious what you are up to. This action will probably start to get him to flirt back in a similar manner (assuming he's interested), in order to help him get confirmation as to whether he's correctly interpreted the situation. By the way, in order to get yourself in this new position, you may have to ask you friends to move strategically in order to help you out.
