So what’s the deal about dating older women? And why does that term usually get followed by a big slow grin guys?
Here’s the thing…
Depending on how old you are, dating older women will be attractive for different reasons. I will confidently say that, more often that not, if a guy is in his late teens/early twenties and is looking to, or actually is dating older women (especially women 10+ years older), then expectation of better sex will be playing a major part – if not every part!.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a more experienced sexual partner whatsoever.
You see, men hit their sexual peak around the 18-23 mark and women around the 33-38 mark – of course there is no hard and fast rule for these ages, but ballpark they are about right. So it’s perfectly understandable that younger men would be attracted to an older woman.
Ok.
A quick word to you under 30’s young men..
Guys – you need to bear in mind as well that older women are wise to your tricks. Trust me – they will have heard it all before and will see straight through you! So don’t bother trying to be clever – you will be found out and quick!
Now, dating older women will of course bring other dimensions and experiences to your relationship. And again we are talking about an age gap of at least 10 years, whether as a man you are in your 20s, 30s, 40s or whatever.
With an older woman you will be more inclined to find she ;
- Knows what she wants and doesn’t want
- Is more financially stable than you
- Has a ready-made family and doesn’t want anymore children
- Is more career-oriented
- Will not stand for any nonsense and will not suffer fools gladly
You may also find she is more inclined to wanting a more casual relationship than a full on romance.
In short, you’ll find older women will tend to be more settled, stable and relaxed about life, which may or may not suit your needs and wants.
You need to remember, it’s not just you that has the generation gap and all the experiences it brings to contend with, she does too!
So just make sure you are as clear as you can be about who you are, what you want and what you have to offer – she’ll thank you for it.
