How many times have you heard somebody say "people just don't give you the time of day anymore!" or "people are so cold these days!"?
Probably quite a few I'd imagine.
But have people really changed their nature that much over the past 20 or 30 years? Or have they just forgotten that life is just like a mirror - what you show to it gets reflected back to you.
Personally, I believe that with the increased pace of modern life and subsequent proliferation of instant-delivery products, people just expect to get things without making an effort nowadays. The by-product of living in a technology-drive age is that we become lazy and expect things to be given to us on a plate. And that goes for people's responses to us.
So if you want people to give of their time more, the onus is on you to give more of your time first. If you want to experience greater degrees of friendliness, friendship and affection from others, then these are things that YOU must give to others first.
If you want more love in your life, try giving love first and you'll soon see love rebounding back atcha!
